NEW EXHIBITION
Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirror Rooms is presented in The George Economou Gallery. This exhibition is in partnership with Bank of America, with additional support from UNIQLO. The exhibition has been extended with additional support from Bank of America.
Due to overwhelming public demand, Tate Modern today announces a one-year-extension of Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirror Rooms. One of the most celebrated artists working today, the exhibition features two of Yayoi Kusama’s major installations alongside fascinating early documentation of her experimental performances and a recent sculptural work continuing her interest in infinite space. The show will now run until 11 June 2023.
Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirror Rooms opened to the public in June 2021, following the reopening of UK museums and galleries after lockdown. The ongoing demand for tickets has been exceptional, however social distancing measures in place throughout the show’s run have meant far fewer visitors have been able to visit than originally intended. Extending the exhibition for another year will help meet the huge public appetite to see Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirror Rooms and enable a further opportunity to experience these extraordinary installations.
Ticket prices will remain the same and will continue to be released on a quarterly basis. Further information about the exhibition can be found here. The next ticket release will take place next week, with details on timings on Tate’s website here.
